The proof / in product

Let me show you what I actually build.

Real products, opened up carefully. Scroll into the websites, the decisions behind them, and the systems they became.

Web platform / SaaS product / Automation

Shipfllow

Freight teams manage dispatch, driver tracking, PODs, BOLs, invoices, expenses, and reporting across disconnected tools. Shipfllow brings that work into one operational flow.

Community / open source

Melat is part of Open Circle.

Open Circle is the open-source organization behind Valibot. Valibot is a modular, type-safe schema library for validating structural data—built to stay small, reliable, and useful across modern applications.

Inspired by founder Fabian Hiller and the community’s open way of building, Melat regularly encourages other developers to explore Open Circle, learn from the work, and join the community.

Built, not imagined

Two real products. The code behind the work.

One moves freight operations forward. One makes the person behind the work visible. GitHub shows how they are built.

01 / Shipfllow case study

From operational friction to a working SaaS platform.

01

Challenge

Freight work was fragmented.

Dispatch, driver tracking, load documents, invoices, expenses, and reporting lived across separate processes. The product opportunity was to make the operational picture easier to see and act on.

02

Idea

Give the work one connected flow.

Melat shaped Shipfllow around the real sequence of freight operations: move the load, collect the proof, manage the financial work, and keep the next action visible.

03

Design

Clarity before decoration.

The public website explains the product in the language of trucking and freight teams. Inside the platform, navigation follows the work itself—loads, documents, financials, reports, and automation.

04

Build

End to end, not handoff to handoff.

Melat led the product from MVP toward a scalable SaaS platform, working across frontend, backend, data, workflow automation, customer discovery, and AI-assisted operational features.

05

Final product

A real platform teams can visit today.

Shipfllow is live with product pages, industry experiences, working freight tools, pricing, and a growing operational platform for dispatch, driver tracking, documents, finance, and reporting.
